Postseason goalie madness in focus, Washington Capitals rebuild and Ovidkin record discussed

This week's NHL QA focuses heavily on goaltending in the playoffs. These questions have been collated and answered on Twitter. Here are some of those high-profile QAs:

Q: Can we see a situation where Matt Murray beats Filip Gustavsson and Marc Andre Fleury in the playoffs?

A: Fans may see something similar. Things were different when Matt Murray was the Penguins' goaltender in 2016 and 2017, however. In addition, he, Filip Gustavsson and Marc Andre Fleury have all been injured or lost games. Fortunately, though, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup, and in 2017, they did it again. The goalkeepers have been in good health so far and they have been playing well on the pitch. However, this also brings up a question for the team: who will participate in the playoffs.Minnesota Wild Tröjor 2023

Q: Will the Washington Capitals undergo a massive rebuild? Will John Carlson and Yevgeny Kuznetsov play?

The Washington Capitals won't be doing a massive rebuild until Alex Ovechkin breaks Wayne Gretzky's record for most goals in the NHL. Alex Ovechkin is also a very good player, despite being 72 points shy of Wayne Gretzky and with the Capitals still five games away. According to projections, he is expected to break Wayne Gretzky's record between 2024 and 2025. As for whether John Carlson and Yevgeny Kuznetsov will play, there's a good chance they will, barring an accident.Billiga Ishockey Tröjor
